From Andrey

Andrey Potekhin graduated from Moscow State University, Russia. He relocated to Silicon Valley California to pursue a career in software engineering. Andrey worked at Apple, Western Union, Sony and San Francisco startups in the areas of e-commerce, cyber security and search. Andrey includes guitar playing, marathon running and kayaking among the things he enjoys.

1. At high school, invented OO programming. Too bad it has already been invented by others!

2. Spent freshman New Year's eve in University's computer lab, writing a computer game. Got thrown out (from the lab, not University).

3. Relocated to the U.S. in 1994. First book bought: “Design Patterns.”

4. Proposed an extension to C++ polymorphism.

5. Co-founded Taitl Design, LLC and its fine art arm MesArt.

6. Worked at Skava, Veracode, Western Union, Sony and Apple.
