From Andrey

Andrey Potekhin graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Moscow State University, Russia. He relocated to the Silicon Valley California to pursue a career in software engineering. Andrey currently manages all technology aspects at Taitl Design, LLC and MesArt.com. Andrey includes bird watching, ping-pong, fresh water and mountain climbing among the things he enjoys.

1. While in high school, independently invented OO programming. Unfortunately, that has already been done!

2. Spent freshman New Year's Eve in university computer lab, writing a computer game.

3. Relocated to the U.S. in 1994. The first book bought in the U.S.: “Design Patterns.”

4. Proposed an extention to C++ polymorphism.

5. Created an award-winning Patent Alerting Service that has subscribers in 98 countries.

6. Co-founded online fine art firm MesArt.
