Andrey Potekhin graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Moscow State University, Russia. He relocated to the Silicon Valley California to pursue a career in software engineering. Andrey currently manages the technical aspects of internet-related projects with Taitl Design and MesArt. Andrey includes bird watching, ping-pong, fresh water and mountain climbing among the things he enjoys.

Quick facts about Andrey's life

1. In high school, accidentally invented OO programming. Unfortunately, that was already discovered!

2. Spent freshman New Year's Eve in university’s computer lab, writing a computer game.

3. Relocated to the US at 1994. First book bought in the US: “Design Patterns.”

4. Proposed an extention to C++ polymorphism.

5. Created an award-winning Patent Alerting Service that has subscribers in 98 countries.

6. Co-founded online fine art firm MesArt.
