Andrey Potekhin graduated from Moscow State University, Russia. He relocated to the Silicon Valley California to pursue a career in software engineering. Andrey currently manages information technology at Taitl Design, LLC and MesArt.com. Andrey includes bird watching, guitar playing, fresh water and kayaking among the things he enjoys.
Quick facts about Andrey's life
1. While in high school, accidentally invented OO programming. Too bad it has already been invented!
2. Wanted to spend freshman New Year's Eve in University computer lab, writing a computer game. Got thrown out (from the lab).
3. Relocated to the U.S. in 1994. The first book bought in the U.S.: “Design Patterns.”
4. Proposed an extention to C++ polymorphism.
5. Co-founded Taitl Design and its fine art spin-off MesArt.
