Andrey Potekhin graduated from Moscow State University, Russia. He relocated to Silicon Valley California to pursue a career in software engineering. Andrey currently manages information technology at Taitl Design, LLC and MesArt.com. Andrey includes bird watching, guitar playing, marathon running and kayaking among the things he enjoys.

1. While in high school, independently invented OO programming. Too bad it has already been invented!

2. Wanted to spend freshman New Year's Eve in University computer lab, writing a computer game. Got thrown out (from the lab, not university).

3. Relocated to the U.S. in 1994. First book bought in the U.S.: “Design Patterns.”

4. Proposed an extension to C++ polymorphism (1995).

5. Co-founded Taitl Design and its fine art arm MesArt.

6. Also worked at Skava, Western Union and Apple.
